About Me.

As I'm embarking on my twenty-second journey around the sun, I have made a point to get myself out there in the world. Not only in my respective craft, photography, but with just about anything within reach. The year 2018 marks my "golden-year", which means an exciting 335 days ahead filled with adventure, stretching my boundaries, and overall living life to the fullest.

I'm a Denver native, born and raised, but I ventured off to Nebraska on an unexpected but liberating move with my mom. Since the move in 2012, my family has been a little restless so I've been fortunate to call Lincoln, Baton Rouge, and Denver home ever since. We are now back in Denver, the whole fam, and I graduate from Doane University in Nebraska in May so I can't wait to be back in the Mile High city that feels the most like home.

I have been involved with photography ever since I can remember. I'd sneak upstairs and steal my dad's Canon to take around the neighborhood. The best part about where I grew up was the nature that surrounded it. The mountains were off in the distance, a family of deer often came by to nibble bushes in the yard, and occasionally there were foxes, eagles, and plenty of snakes. This was prime photography practice. It wasn't until I moved to Nebraska and that access was stripped away that I started taking photos of people and loving it.

Since then, I've been published by Mile High Sports Magazine and the Doane Magazine. I've also taken on a leadership role as 1014 Magazine's Editor-in-Chief. I've worked with several photography teams and will continue to do so as I build the skills to improve and grow in my art.

This blog serves as a stepping stone to not only broaden my horizons but to also allow me to immerse myself in an ever-growing culture of digital media. I hope that this platform will create a new sense of motivation within me to truly be taken by the world of fashion and to understand it on a new level.
