  Yellin' for Yellow
      March 26, 2018

You won't be able to set foot in your favorite shops this season without being saturated in the sunny color of spring: yellow.

It seems only fitting that in the bleak winter months, the one thing we would crave most is the bright sunshine, so why not help fill that void by incorporating it into our fashion. Needless to say why it's a statement piece this season, it's a must-have for any wardrobe.

Thin sweaters make the perfect fit for the springtime in-betweens - you know when you wake up and it's frigid but midway through the day you're sweating through the layers you thought necessary a few hours ago? That's where the thin sweaters come in handy, they offer some coverage and as temps rise, you can roll the sleeves.

This mustard yellow goes perfectly with darker neutrals, denim, and earth tones. This color brings a vintage past along with it, so pairing it with your high waisted jeans/shorts (ladies) or your cuffed jeans and oxfords (gentlemen) will help play out that classic association.

                           VERY VINYL
                                                                                  March 25, 2018

Plastic is in, and no I’m not talking about being a mean girl.

The see-through and affordable material is making its way into every inch of 2018 fashion from jackets, to accessories, to shoes. The best part about this upcoming trend is its usefulness during the rainy months --, raincoats are a must-have. FBut for a more unconventional look though, be on the prowl for vinyl skirts, PVC booties, and see-through bags. The key with the clear craze is to take it as far as you want to go. You can dawn a full vinyl fit or toss on a PU belt to add a statement piece, it’s really as far as you want to take it.

DENIM X DENIM

March 5, 2018

Denim has been around since 1873 and it’s without a doubt it has been an integral piece of fashion no matter what the year. When some think denim on denim, the hysterical Hollywood photos of Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears strutting the red carpet often comes to mind. (If you don’t know what I’m talking about, google it).

The fashion industry is here to reassure you that this time around, the denimxdenim has taken a more chic approach. Make the older generations ask if you “bought them that way” by pairing distressed denim looks, but be sure to keep your pieces different enough to avoid looking too matchy.
